We support Childbirth Connections, a program of teh National Partnership for Women & Families.  This evidence-based support organization was founded in 1918 and is a leading voice today for improving maternity care in the US through advocacy and transformation of the entire health care system in some very profound and compelling ways.  Of particular interest to me are their initiatives to advocate for the rights of expecting moms in every medical setting, and to protect informed consent as a core healthcare value.
